Do you love the outdoors? Students in grades 5-8 will participate in a summer day camp. Activities for the camp will include science exploration, hikes, outdoor sports, archery, fishing, crafts, and engineering.
Daily Schedule
This camp will be held at Durham Ferry Outdoor Education Center in Manteca and will run from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily. We will spend mornings exploring the outdoors and participate in recreational activities. In the afternoons we will enage in science and engineering activitites.
Lunch Break
There will be a 30-minute lunch break each day. Lunch will be provided by a local caterer. If your student has specific allergies or dietary restrictions, they can bring their own sack lunch. Refrigeration is available.
What to Bring and Wear
Students should bring a water bottle, hat, and sunglasses.
Students should be prepared for extreme weather and plan accordingly: sunscreen, insect spray, layers of clothing, etc. We request students with long hair to wear their hair up during the camp.
All Students are required to wear sturdy closed-toed shoes.
Behavior Issues
This is an enrichment activity and any behavior issues will result in immediate dismissal and removal from the course.

SJCOE will be following state and local government Covid-19 protocols.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Required docuements will be sent via email to the parent/guardian email listed in the registration. Each form will need to be filled out, signed, prior to the first day of camp.
