October 2022 Newsletter

Thanks to a generous grant from San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Students in the Arts & Music Program gained experience writing, filming and editing throughout the year. They created two music videos and numerous PSAs, Culinary Arts and other STEAM projects were also supported. The funds provided the tools to help them learn and grow. See some of the highlights in the video below!

Thousands Enjoyed the 10th Annual Murrieta Rod Run

The 10th Annual Murrieta Rod Run is in the books! It was an amazing weekend! The popular family-friendly event highlights classic cars from several area Car Clubs and as far as Las Vegas.

Thank you to the Drifters of Southern California for putting on another great show. The 100% volunteer event raises funds for Oak Grove's programs and special projects. Past projects have included helping build the Baseball field, launch Culinary Creations, offer STEAM classes, Autism Program Summer Music Camp, DANCE and so much more.

Special thank you to City of Murrieta Mayor, Johnathan Ingram for helping present the Mayor’s Award, Police and Fire Awards along with the Judges Trophy Awards. Click below to see some of the beautiful cars and award winners!

PARTNERS FOR IMPACT SPOTLIGHT

Ambassador Spotlight

Cori Carey with Drive Real Estate is one of the original Oak Grove Ambassadors! Joining the program in 2020, Cori has been a passionate advocate for our youth. She is also a generous monthly donor.

Each year, Cori coordinates the Drive Real Estate Poker Run in Old Town Temecula. Proceeds support incentive activities for Oak Grove youth, such as the Kona Ice Truck.

She says, "I choose to support Oak Grove monthly and spread the word about the great work at Oak Grove because they serve LOCAL families at risk. They provide stability, encouragement and support to LOCAL Children and their families facing crisis. It is important to have reliable and guaranteed funds to make these promises and deliver to these vulnerable members of our community. Oak Grove has so many ways to be involved."

Thank you Cori for your time and support! We appreciate you!
