A Transformational Ministry
At Welcome House Raleigh we believe that the ministry and practice of hospitality is transformational. It is the beginning point for our guests who are starting over and making a home in our community. For our volunteers it is a deepening understanding of the beauty and joy that can be found in kindness and connection. In and through all of it the grace of God is made evident, and we are all the richer. Read on to catch a few glimpses of how this ministry has been sparkling recently. Don't forget to follow us on Facebook or Instagram for all the latest updates.
Mementoes of Courage and Hope

When a family leaves Welcome House and moves to their permanent home, we often find the greatest treasures when cleaning and setting up for the next guests.

Circle of Friends
Our Circle of Friends ministry seeks to provide friendship and connection for families for the critical first 6 months of their new life in Raleigh. Recently volunteers, Theresa and Lisa, took some Afghan friends to pick strawberries. Would you like to befriend a new neighbor and share some of the best things about life in our beautiful city? Please contact Kim Wyatt to learn more.
