Arapahoe County Dates and Deadlines Document - This is the most updated version

In order to keep our 4-H families and volunteers informed on 4-H dates and deadlines, the 4-H team has created a document containing an updated list of county-wide dates and deadlines for the 4-H year. This document will be continuously updated and a link will be included in the newsletters and on the Arapahoe County 4-H Member Resources webpage. Click on the image to the left to view the document.

Do You Have a Board or Card Games Collecting Dust?

Donate them to our office. We are looking for gently used board and card games to be used for our afterschool programming. Games need to be age appropriate for youth 8-13.

We will take any and all games but are also looking for specific games such as:

• Azul
• Candy Land
• Clue Junior
• Life
• Mouse Trap
• Sorry
• Sushi Go
• Ticket to Ride – First Journey
• Trouble
• Uno

Get in the holiday spirit, Dec. 9 at the Fairgrounds!

Celebrate the holiday season at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Dec. 9, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. It’s a family fun day with something for everyone—from shopping with local vendors, to make-and-take craft activities, Santa meet-and-greet, petting farm, horse-drawn rides, model train display, train rides, gingerbread house making contest, free hot chocolate and s’mores, face painting, food trucks, and tons of FUN. When: Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023 | 11 a.m.-4 p.m. 

Where: Arapahoe County Fairgrounds Event Center | 25690 E Quincy

Tickets: $10, kids 2 and under FREE 

Donate a new, unwrapped gift for one free admission per household. Your generous donation will support Arapahoe County Human Services’ Partnering for the Holidays gift-giving program.

• Creative Cooks Contest - Saturday, February 24 at Adams County Regional Park in Henderson
• Cake Decorating Contest - Saturday, April 6 at Boulder County Fairgrounds
• Speech/Demonstrations Contest - Saturday, April 13 at CSU SPUR

Arapahoe County 4-H Foundation Scholarship Application Available!

Are you an Arapahoe County 4-H Member who is a Senior in high school this year? Are you starting to think about college scholarships? If you are, the Arapahoe County 4-H Foundation scholarship application is now available! Click on the image to the left to access the application. Once on the 4-H Foundation page, scroll down to "4-H Foundation Scholarship Application 2024".

It's never to early to start the application process. The application is due 2/1/24 to Shaylen. Interviews will be held on 2/28/24, so save that date if you are going to be applying!

Colorado 4-H Scholarship applications are NOW OPEN!

There are opportunities available for a variety of students, including for those attending CSU or other universities, trade school, junior colleges, transfer students, and continuing students.
