Help For the Tag Sale

Members of Troop 66 sold donuts and coffee during the FOFAH Tag Sale in early May. FOFAH appreciates their support and is always in need of volunteers to host these events.

Volunteers help with planning, hosting, giving tours, cleaning, painting, planting, sweeping. Volunteers also have fun and make new friends. If you would like to meet people or have more information, email at info@ HilltopFarmSuffield.org or call at 860-758-0668. We would love to see you.

Suffield Academy Leadership Class

The Leadership Class from Suffield Academy, led by teacher Josh Hillman chose Hilltop Farm to do their community service work. They tackled Spring Cleaning jobs like painting benches, cleaning out the sheds, sweeping the lower barn, removing vines from a chain-link fence, moving and setting up tables and putting out the trash cans and recycle binsfor the tag sale. Thank you Josh and SA students! Their efforts made a big impact and are greatly appreciated.

Springtime at Hilltop Farm

Volunteers have been busy over the past few weeks. There is a lot of spring cleaning to be done at the farm to make things ready to host our programs and events for our friend and neighbors.

Those of us who know and love Hilltop Farm are very appreciative to the Town of Suffield’s Highway Department for repaving approximately 900 sq yds pavement in the town-owned open space. The original pavement had cracked and broken and was in serious need of repair.

FOFAH leases, pays rent and manages the Town’s Open Space. The new pavement is smooth like butter. However, It needs to cure and will not be ready to use until late May.
