Focus Groups: Teaching Uncensored
In response to the national coordinated effort to intimidate school districts and educators from teaching fair and accurate U.S. history dealing with race, sexual orientation and gender identity in public schools and public school libraries, IDRA is leading the charge to support educators and school leaders in the U.S. South.

IDRA is hosting a series of focus groups with educators to understand challenges, needs and desired support for teaching in a climate of classroom censorship and for providing an equitable and culturally sustaining educational environment. We will use the information gathered during these focus groups to create lesson plans and resources for educators that, primarily, will be made available publicly on IDRA’s We All Belong – School Resource Hub.

Before planning to participate, see the Informed Consent Form.
