Hanging out in a beautiful garden for a few hours, what could be better? It even grows food for those in need in our community! Please email Enid Becker, IS Art Teacher, if you have questions or if you can help.

HEALTH SERVICES UPDATE

Weekly COVID-19 case counts have been rising in King County since mid-March — though they are significantly lower than the numbers we saw in January (King County COVID-19 Dashboard). COVID-19 case counts in BSD schools have also seen an uptick since spring break, as found on the BSD COVID-19 Dashboard. Because of this, the district is strongly advising students, staff, and families to consider using layered protections to keep our schools safe. See this message from Superintendent Dr. Art Jarvis regarding mask-wearing. For questions, email BSD.
HUMAN CAPITAL ENTERPRISES SELECTED FOR SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH

A contract was signed with Human Capital Enterprises as the search firm for the Board’s Superintendent Search. Read more here. Questions? Email BSD.
KEEP YOUR ADDRESS UP-TO-DATE

Have you moved in the past year? Are you planning to move over the summer? In the event of an emergency, it is important for the district to have an up-to-date address for your students. If you have moved or if you will be moving over the summer, please submit a change of address form. Student Placement will work with you regarding your student’s school. Please include the documents needed to establish residency. Email BSD Student Placement Residency with questions.
