Greetings,

We are gearing up for our Thanksgiving Break and we are thankful for your families and their dedication to our community.

Our Board of Trustees has announced the tuition for 2024-25:

Below each of our division directors share their school highlights for the week ahead.

We are encouraging families to register for our admission Preview Days for Rising divisions including 5th graders to Middle School Nov. 16, and 8th graders to Upper School Nov. 17.

Don't miss the upcoming Theater and Athletic events next week. Upper School's Fall Production of Fahrenheit 451, with a pre-show panel with regional authors to discuss censorship in the arts (Nov. 17th only). Performances on Nov 17 & 18 at 7pm. And our Kodiak's officially kick-off the Basketball season!

Don't want to bake? Place your pie orders now through the Parent's Association-available for purchase here. Pickup Friday, Nov. 17th during school drop-off/pickup outside of the Trianon. Baguettes and dinner rolls available while supplies last.

Today we expressed our Kodiak Pride with music and appreciation to those who serve at the Veterans Day assembly - a powerful experience for all!

Let's play "Guess Who?" I am pleased to announce a new CSS Visiting Scholars program kicking off Wednesday, January 31th. Leading up I will give weekly clues to the identity of this mystery guest speaker.

Clue #1: This person has traveled the world as a conservationist.

Our 5th and 8th grade shadow-up dates are this coming week. We encourage parents to register: parent preview to hear about all of the exciting things happening in our Upper School. I am excited for our 8th graders to remain as Kodiaks and I’m looking forward to the leadership and energy they will bring into the Upper School!

Congratulations to Xander Taylor who just signed his letter of intent to swim for The University

of South Dakota, a division one school! We are looking forward to winter sports starting on Monday, the ECS parent night on Tuesday, and the play Fahrenheit 451 on Friday/Saturday.
