Daniel Garrison ('19 & '22) was 40 years old when he was called into the ministry. God has guided him in a journey that has seen its ups and downs but overall has been truly amazing. He graduated from IWU on August 29th, 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies degree. A few years later, he graduated again in February 2022 with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Leadership degree from Wesley Seminary. Less than a month ago, Ps. Daniel became the Lead Pastor of Covington Wesleyan Church in Reidsville, NC. God has already blessed this ministry with new members, salvations, baptisms and great leaders. Ps. Daniel believes that God is getting ready to do a great work in Reidsville. He is very thankful for the education provided through IWU and Wesley Seminary to prepare him for this wonderful opportunity to serve others!

Meet Mike ('01 & '21) and Kristen ('00) Hofer, both alumni of IWU and Mike of Wesley Seminary, Kristen is currently working on her MDiv. These two will launch a new church plant in Columbus, Georgia in 2025! Take a moment to hear from them and see how you and your church can help! "The Foundry is blessed to report that we are launching a new life-giving church in Columbus, GA. We have had dozens of lunches, dinners, and coffees to speak with potential launch team members over the last few months. We have gathered over 100 prayer partners and received generous investments in the ministry from Church partners and individuals who believe in the mission and vision of The Foundry."

On June 24th, we had our first mass launch team gathering. We had 32 people attend for some bowling, food, fellowship, and vision casting from Pastor Mike and Kristen. Of those 32, we have 23 who have given us permission to contact them with more info about The Foundry because they are interested in joining the team. Please pray with us that God will continue to open doors.
