After-Hours Chamber Mixers are Back!


We’re excited to announce that, finally, after two long years, the Business After-Hours meetings are back.  Kitsap Bank will be the first to host the Business After-Hours in their newly remodeled Port Angeles Branch at 716 E. Front St.

Save the date for the early evening of Thursday, Oct. 27th.

October Happenings at Studio Bobs

Thursday, Oct. 6th is Drink & Draw with Shadow Cast from Rocky Horror. Free to all ages. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the first pose at 7pm. There will be three 20-minute iconic poses from the movie with actors in costume. Art supplies are provided or bring your own, the Loom Bar will be open with refreshments for purchase. Nice dogs welcome.

Saturday Oct. 8th, 5 - 8pm and Sunday Oct. 9th, 12 - 3pm, The Second Weekend Art Opening featuring "Creative Photographic Visions” presented by The Digital Artistry Group.

Saturday Oct. 15th, "From the Ashes". An evening of live music, performance art, dance and spoken word to benefit Healthy Families and to raise domestic violence awareness. Ages 16+ 7:30pm Tickets $15.

Friday, Oct. 21st, Story Slam is back at Studio Bob - theme TBA. 7pm, $10 at the door. Out Loud Story Slam on the Olympic Peninsula is hosted by Jeanné Sparks and Nessa Goldman. True stories you need to hear told in the first person. Everyone is invited to drop their name in the bag to share a five-minute true personal story on the theme, however you interpret it. If your name gets pulled, you're getting on the stage to share. Of course, we need an audience, and everyone is welcome to come to listen, there is no pressure to be a teller. The Loom Bar will be open with wine, beer, cider, soft drinks, coffee, tea and a variety of snacks.

KWA - Caring for Communities

KWA would like to introduce KWA Tea Time Events!

We encourage the community to enjoy a cup of tea and refreshments and meet the KWA staff! Learn how KWA helps your community and has job opportunities available.

This is a monthly event, on the 2nd Wednesday of every month form 1pm-4pm, at all KWA locations.
