What's Coming | NEW EVENT

We're happy to announce the second event in our Wonderment of Womanhood series!

Join us for a relaxing night of therapeutic art-making with Clarise Fearn Art & Creative Wellness. In this two-hour workshop, participants will learn tools and techniques for using art as a way to de-stress and combat burnout. We will be using the symbol of the Mother Archetype to help us embody our feminine power and operate from a space of abundance rather than lack.

All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring a journal (optional) if you wish, as there will be some journaling options during the workshop.

About our Facilitator

Clarise Fearn is an artist and social-emotional arts facilitator certified through UCLA Arts and Healing. In 2020 she opened her expressive arts studio, Clarise Fearn Art & Creative Wellness with the mission to make the healing powers of art accessible to all. Clarise offers a variety of services all with mindfulness and creative expression at the core. Her services include mindful art classes at her home studio, online and all around Pittsburgh, long-term programs for organizations, and 1:1 therapeutic art- making sessions.

Learn more about Clarise at clarisefearn.com.

All of our events are designed to enable quality connecting and interaction, so space is limited, and registration will be capped accordingly.

What's Happened

Our First WOW - Wine On Wednesday

We gathered in the cozy space of Pat and Michael Kavic for a wonderful wine tasting! Michael shared his knowledge and passion of wine making. He gave our guests a fabulous educational presentation on how to drink wine, on wine making, and on wine varietals. Guests enjoyed delicious food from Hanlon's Catering (thank you Bobby Hanlon!) and a cheese tray from the Kavics. Our guests made new friends as they sipped, swirled, and sampled eight wines made by the Kavics.

See all of the photos on our website.

If you're interested in attending a wine tasting at Kavic Winery, visit their website for times and details. Be sure to tell them Syd and Cin from People Connectors referred you!

Wonderment of Womanhood Series - Mindful Movement

First of a series of three

We gathered in the beautiful new Jazzercise Carnegie Fitness Center. Angelina Beas led us through gentle body movement and stretches, finishing with a meditation. After that, we had a light lunch.

Another cool space!

Celebrating a Milestone

Syd's 10-Year Anniversary as a Jazzercise Instructor

Thank you, State Representative Anita Kulik, for coming by on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate with us! We're grateful for your support of women businesses.

We gathered again in the beautiful new Jazzercise Carnegie Fitness Center. We had a group of people who never experienced Jazzercise, those who hadn't been in a while, and those who practice regularly. Everyone had fun! After an Express class, we celebrated with a champagne toast and lunch.

Two goofballs!

A toast to friendships and fitness!
