Advocacy Update

Last month, CADDRA and CADDAC met with Manitoba Minister of Mental Health and Community Wellness, Janice Morley-Lecomte (pictured) to request more resources for ADHD assessment and treatment in Manitoba and for her support of the Private Members Bill C-329

Summer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Program Assistant – Education for a full-time (35 hours/week) position for 8 weeks with an anticipated start date after May 8, 2023. Payment is $19 an hour. This is an online position but there is an option to be in the Toronto office twice a week.


This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs grant.

  • Knowledge translation of ADHD literature for medical, research and healthcare professionals
  • ADHD literature reviews and summaries for medical and healthcare audience
  • Contributing to the CADDRA ADHD Research Digest
  • Development of tools and resources to support collaborations between ADHD researchers and practitioners
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to accomplish these goals

Expansion of Medication Availability on Provincial Formularies

CADDRA continues to advocate for public funding of ADHD medications across all provinces in Canada as an important step in ensuring equitable access to ADHD treatments. Foquest was added to the Quebec and Ontario formularies last month. 

In Québec

Foquest is now included on the Quebec Formulary, effective April 13, 2023. Learn more (p.120) about the eligibility criteria for reimbursement of Foquest in Quebec.
