NYT Best-Selling Author Visit on Tuesday, March 8th!

Presented by the Southfield Library and Book Fair Committee: Dion Leonard from "Finding Gobi"

Dion and Gobi are visiting schools and libraries throughout the United States, presenting the Finding Gobi Picture Book, which is an inspiring storytime read for ages 1-8.

Dion and Gobi also will also speak to our middle schoolers, as the Young Readers Edition (ages 8-16) of Finding Gobi has been used with children to discuss everything from deserts, culture, countries, animals, people, teamwork, and commitment.

We can't wait! More details to come.

Wednesday March 16th: DADS' CLUB BREAKFAST! Come join us in the Southfield Cafe for breakfast, followed by a LIVE REPTILE SHOW!!! No RSVP required.

Friday, April 8th: MUDBUGS HOCKEY NIGHT! All Southfield Families are invited to join us for Hockey Night on Friday, April 8th. We will be purchasing a block of tickets for the school, so please RSVP before March 18th.

The Annual Dads' Club Golf Tournament will be held at EAST RIDGE COUNTRY CLUB this year due to construction at Southern Trace. We are looking for players, sponsors, and volunteers to help out with one of Shreveport's best annual golf tournaments!
