Request for Proposals - Measurement Framework & Evaluation Strategy
SaskCulture is looking for an external program evaluator or agency to design and implement
purposeful and effective values-based measurement framework to inform decision-making and
learning within and outside of the organization. The program evaluator will also assess existing
evaluation, data collection, and decision-making processes to ensure that the policies and practices that uphold the evaluation strategy match with the values and are sustainable for the long-term future. Celebrate National Volunteer Week April 24 - 30
National Volunteer Week begins on April 24, with the theme 'Volunteering is Empathy in Action.' Tri-Global partners Sask Sport, Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association, and SaskCulture, plan to celebrate and recognize volunteers across Saskatchewan whose generosity, dedication and empathy help build healthier individuals and stronger communities. SaskCulture Offices Closed for Good Friday
SaskCulture staff will be out of the office on Friday, April 15 for Good Friday. Staff will resume regular work hours on Monday, April 17.

Culture Days Hub Sponsorship Details for 2022
SaskCulture’s Culture Days Hub Sponsorship opportunity is now taking applications. A Culture Days hub is two or more community cultural partners working together to offer engaging arts and culture activities that are free to the public during Culture Days, taking place September 23 – October 16, 2022. This year, applications with activities and programming that advance Truth and Reconciliation as part of September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, will be prioritized. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the sponsorship budget is expended; click here to find out more, including how to request an application.

Imagine Canada Advocates for Bill S-216 to Become Law
Bill S-216, The Effective and Accountable Charities Act, will be debated in the House of Commons in May. The bill would simplify rules for philanthropic funders and charities to partner with organizations that are quantified as 'non-qualified donees' under current charity laws. MAS Awards 2022 Nominations Open
The Museums Association of Saskatchewan's 2022 Awards are currently accepting nominations for the Young Professional Award and the Award of Merit. Awards will be presented at the annual MAS AGM and Conference. Deadline to submit nominations is April 15, 2022.
MAS Announces New Executive Director
The Museums Association of Saskatchewan is welcoming Emma Morris as the new Executive Director of MAS. Emma worked previously with MAS as the Community Engagement Coordinator, and has most recently worked with the City of Regina. Outgoing ED Wendy Fitch will continue as Interim Executive Director until August 28, 2022.
