Lesley University Partnership Breaks New Ground
This summer Riverside will open the Riverside Outpatient Center at Cambridge on Lesley University’s campus, in a partnership that will create a new model of student mental health and wellness. Riverside clinicians will provide mental health services to Lesley students and the local community. We'll also continue our partnership with Lesley on research, training, and student internships, expanding the field with new and evidence-based approaches and treatments.
Dover-Sherborn Middle School Pays It Forward
Through bake sales and other fundraisers, the Help Club of Dover-Sherborn Middle School raised $600 for the Riverside Trauma Center, after Riverside responded to a tragedy at the high school. These 6-8th graders wanted to give something back and make sure that other communities would have the opportunity to work with the Trauma Center if they needed to. As Julia Campion, Senior Manager of Trauma-Informed Care, said, "We were honored to serve the Dover-Sherborn community during a difficult time, and we feel so assured knowing there are young people in this world who are committed to giving back in such meaningful ways."
Grant Focuses on Mental Health in the Justice System
Riverside Community Care has received a five-year $1.4 million grant from the Commonwealth to provide behavioral healthcare and human services through a new program affiliated with the Norfolk County criminal justice system, MassHealth Behavioral Health Supports for Justice-Involved Individuals, addressing the critical links between mental health, substance use, and incarceration.
