RULE CHANGES

(especially important for 2022 Regional match directors)

NEW! Rule 4.8 Written Stage Briefings (WSB)

To ensure that required WSBs are complete, the exact components of a WSB are listed. Classifiers in the ICORE collection are good examples of what a WSB should look like. Take a look at them. Try out some of the newest classifiers for your matches and include the same WSB info.

NEW! Rule 5. AMMUNITION AND CHRONOGRAPH

Chrono and ammo are now combined into one rule. YES, chronograph is a stage and has always been mandatory in Regional Championships and the IRC.

NEW! Rule 5.2 Chronograph

A WSB is required for the Chrono stage. The CRO assigned to the Chrono Stage will find the exact instructions for running chrono in this new rule. Included are equipment checks by the CRO to ensure that each shooter is in the correct Division (and Special Recognition Category, if applicable).

NEW... A MAJOR CHANGE!

Rule 7.8.1. Revolver breakage between "Make Ready" and the "Start Signal"

ROs, read it and understand. Shooters, read and know your options and penalties in case it happens to you. (Everyone should also review Rule 2 RANGE COMMANDS, as the "Make Ready" command starts the course of fire.)
