Miss Kathy's students gave the güiro a try in music class this week! The güiro is a percussion instrument commonly used in Cuban, Puerto Rican, and other Latin American music, and an important sound in son, trova and salsa music.

The CTC Academy shouts out a big THANK YOU to Matthew Chiocchi, Grand Knight and all of the Knights of Columbus, St. Ann's Council #2853, Fair Lawn, NJ! On Saturday CTC Academy’s Head of Therapy, Laura B and Development Associate, Denise O gratefully accepted a check for $3,168 from the Knights’ Persons with Intellectual Disabilities 2023 Drive. Laura B thanked the attendees for their continued support and explained how much the donation helps.
