Dear SFX School Community,

On Tuesday, March 21st at 2:00pm, we will join together as a school community to celebrate the special life of our beloved art teacher, colleague & friend, Mrs. Laura McGhee. This celebration will take place in our gym.

If you would like to join us, please enter through the gym beginning at 1:50pm. There will be seating up in the bleachers.

ST PATRICKS DAY

Students who donate $1 to the

Student Council St. Baldrick's collection by March 17th will have a FULL Dress down Day on Wednesday March 22nd!

Parents, please take a few minutes to complete the annual 5Essentials Survey. We love parent feedback in our school!

Completing the survey is a way to have your voice heard. The more parents who participate, the better your school's principal can plan for the coming year.

It takes less than 15 minutes to complete and can be done from your mobile device! The survey will close on Friday, March 17th.

6th GRADE SERVICE

The sixth grade class is supporting Purple Day Every Day in an effort to increase awareness about and reduce the stigma of Epilepsy. Last week, Ms. Brigid Baffico, a local Purple Day Every Day Ambassador, visited to educate the sixth grade students about Epilepsy. By sharing her personal experience and providing some basic first aid tips, our students are now better able to support the 3M+ people living with Epilepsy in the US.

On Friday March 24th, the sixth grade class will host a purple candy sale during all lunch periods to support Ms. Baffico and raise much needed funds for Epilepsy Awareness. All proceeds from the sale and any donations will benefit Purple Day Every Day

Major Fixler brought in his "history trunks" & military uniforms from WWI to present. Students were able to try them on while he explained the history & use of the gear.

Middle schoolers at had fun & gave it a good try but they didn't quite get all 62 trillion digits of Pi on the board !!!

Please mark your calendars for championship week as we will host the 6th grade girls basketball tournaments beginning Tuesday March 21 through March 24. Game schedule will be provided when seeding is set.

Go Falcons!
