Students also heard from a panel of graduating seniors — Ilanna Morales, Kierstin Perkins, Sam Camper, Bailee Ojogho, Rachel Berookhim, Lily Horne, and Chris Wilson — about LMU’s campus culture, academic rigors, and work-life balance. The high schoolers actively engaged with the panelists by asking them thoughtful questions about a variety of topics, including time management and preparing for the job market.
Kashani mentioned that, “The best part for me was seeing how engaged they were during the campus tour and the panel, and how excited they were to be able to get their questions answered. It also really warmed my heart that while I was giving the tour, I heard a couple of students say that they would want to attend LMU when they are older.”
The day was filled with insightful and informational experiences for Cabirllo’s students. They left LMU feeling excited and more prepared about their future in higher education.
