Central Contra Costa

Career & Resource Fair - May 17

Job seekers are invited to attend the Central Contra Costa Career & Resource Fair on Wednesday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mt. Diablo Adult Education in Concord. Attendees will learn about available jobs, on-the-job training opportunities, educational resources and job seeker services, including career counseling and resume reviews. Everyone is welcome, including veterans, youth and individuals with disabilities.

Success Story: Andre Johnson

Andre Johnson lost his previous job due to COVID-19 and was living in his car. Through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) via Rubicon Programs, he completed on-the-job training to become a full-time Community Health Ambassador with Heluna Health. Soon he'll complete his associate degree in social and human services. And he's just getting started.
