Congratulations to alumnus Brandon Johnson '16 who recently became a Fireman! Brandon went through an extensive amount of testing, as well as a challenging 8 months in the fire academy, that led him to attaining his fire and EMT certifications. Brandon now serves as a Fireman for the Columbus Division of Fire. |

Last Spring, Carfagana’s Meat Market on SR161, closed its doors for the final time, moving to their new location on Gemini Place near Polaris. Recently, Toro Meat Market purchased the building to open a market of their own. Toro will be run by SFD alumnus Antonio Mata Cortez '19. The DeSales tradition continues at 1405 E. Dublin- Granville Road! |

Alumnus Thomas Gentile '09 provided the SFD Baseball team with a tour of the Coastal Carolina Baseball facilities during the team's annual Spring Break trip. Thomas works as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Coastal Carolina Baseball team. |

The Stallion softball team will take on Pickerington Central, coached by Stephanie Peterson, SFD Class of 2007. The team welcomes back all softball alumnae to enjoy the game, meet current players, and reconnect with former players and coaches. Job Opportunities at SFD
Executive Administrative Assistant
Saint Francis DeSales High School is currently seeking a full time executive administrative assistant. Under the direct supervision of the Principal, this position provides administrative support to the Principal and assists teachers, students, parents, as well as visitors as requested. This individual will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Main Office inclusive of the following essential responsibilities to name a few:
- Managing the Principal's calendar
- Preparing correspondence including communication via email or mailings for the school
- Assists the Principal with various projects as requested

Janitorial and Light Maintenance Associate
Join a great team! Posting is for an associate as a full-time janitorial position at St. Francis DeSales High School. Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11pm; daytime hours during the summer and at times when school is not in session. Competitive hourly rate of pay and full benefit package including medical, dental and vision insurance, retirement plan and vacation pay. If you cannot commit to an hour, please feel free to stop in for a visit before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament as your schedule permits. Prayer before the Most Blessed Sacrament is one of the best ways we can support the DeSales community, and a great Lenten practice!
