Amaryllis Therapy Network

March 2023 News & Updates

A letter from the director

Dear Amaryllis Community:

Hope you’re hanging on to your seats for this roller coaster ride that has been the month of March! I have lots of exciting changes to share with you! First, masks are now optional in the clinic. We are following the guidelines put forth by the major hospitals in the Denver Metro area. We continue to encourage you and your child and staff to wear a mask if you are at high risk for infections, are unvaccinated, or have the sniffles or a lingering cough. We will still be doing a symptom check when you check in at the front desk.

We say good bye to Patricia Mondragon, our former office manager, as she heads off to a new position at University Hospital. We say hello to our new office manager, Royal Bush, who brings a great deal of managerial experience and positive energy to Amaryllis. We’re excited to have him join our team and he has hit the ground running!

We are pleased to offer physical therapy, again, with our new, very experienced PT, March Dolphin. She is also a Feldenkrais Practitioner and has worked with infants and children of all ages.

We’re excited to have Andrew Tarr back working alongside our team! He is an Anat Baniel Method (ABM) practitioner and Feldenkrais therapist. He is relocating from his Broomfield office to Amaryllis and will be in the clinic Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

The final update that I would like to share is that I will be out on medical leave until early May. You will be in good hands with our dynamic team that will keep Amaryllis running smoothly while I am out! I look forward to having my hip replaced and am thankful for all the prayers and well-wishes that you have shared with me.

In gratitude,

Cindy

Welcome our new Physical Therapist!

March Dolphin, PT

March was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She moved to New York City to pursue a career in dance before deciding that a career in dancing was not an economically sound career choice. Then while working as a medical assistant she attended night school taking the prerequisites for PT school. March attended SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn and received her BS in Physical Therapy 1988. My first job was in a hospital in Brooklyn that was a Cystic Fibrosis Center. In 1989, I began work at the the University Hospital of Staten Island where I became a senior therapist. At the same time, I was also seeing infants, and working at a private PT office as well. March was first introduced to the therapeutic modality called the "Feldenkrais Method®" (FM) in PT school, but when she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 1990, she decided to pursue training immediately. March completed her FM training in 1994. March moved back to Denver in May of 2022. As a PT, March gets to provide FM to children who might not otherwise have had that experience.
