Meet our New Pastors and Vicars
The Michigan District welcomed five pastoral candidates and four vicars to its roster last week.
On Monday, April 24 and Tuesday, April 25, two separate worship services took place at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind. (CTSFW) for assignment of vicarage and internships and for call placements, respectively.

CEF Information Technology Administrator
Church Extension Fund seeks qualified candidates for the position of IT Administrator. This position, which serves both CEF and the Michigan District, LCMS, performs a range of network and workstation duties for a combined office of 30-35 on-site and remote users. The position reports to and assists the CEF Assistant VP-Systems Manager in three main areas: network management, cyber-security management, and software administration. THE GREAT SENDING
The Michigan District office has many copies of The Great Sending: God’s Heart for the World Beating Through You by Will Sohns available for free. If you would like to pick up copies at one of the regional conferences for your entire congregation, contact chad.woltemath@michigandistrict.org with the quantity you would like to order. These will be available at the pastors conferences' registration table.

CALL PROCESS REMINDERS
Any congregation that calls a worker on the Commissioned roster, or any worker on the roster who receives a call, needs to notify the District Office when calls are issued and then also notify us of the outcome of the call. Please keep in mind that any worker who is a member of the Roster of Synod has to be called, not contracted, even if the position is part-time.
