Staff News: Thomasine Dolan joins as food, beverage and events manager
|
We are pleased to announce that Thomasine Dolan has recently joined the Haven Harbour Marina Resorts team, serving as our full-time, year-round food, beverage and events manager.
Coming to us from Baltimore, Thomasine is no stranger to the food and beverage business. With 20 years of experience, she was previously serving as assistant general manager of the Atlas Restaurant Group where she primarily oversaw operations of the conglomerate's Lochbar and Perennial locations. Looking to make a change in course, she applied for our opening here, and has since been hard at work getting matters in order for another season of service to our guests.
"Craft culture is the heart of Kent County," mentioned Thomasine. "My hope in joining the Haven Harbour team is to develop our various dining experiences and showcase community artisans through food, beverage and entertainment offerings that both locals and visitors will enjoy."
Thomasine will be leading our entirely in-house food and beverage effort – including overseeing Haven Harbour Marina's Passages Bar & Grill and Haven Harbour South's Admirals Club Beachside Bar – as well as being the go-to contact for everything wedding and events related on our properties.
"We are taking a fresh approach to our food and beverage operation, and how we support events throughout the resort," said Managing Director Charlie Petosa. "Thomasine's role will be critical in enhancing those aspects of our business and helping us delight each and every one of our guests."
Join us in welcoming Thomasine, we look forward to seeing what you accomplish! To inquire about holding an event with us, please visit our dedicated page online at havenharbour.com/events, or by writing Thomasine directly at [email protected].

Boatyard Biz: Spring splash is sprung
|
Boats in our yards are finding their rightful homes back in the water this week as the spring splash season officially begins here at Haven Harbour Marina and Haven Harbour South – as with this 60' Grand Banks in the slings on Wednesday afternoon.
As a reminder, If you are winter storing with us this year, please be aware that both marinas will be enforcing a "No Cash, No Splash" policy, meaning that if a storage customer's account is not current at the time of their desired launch, said vessel will remain on the hard until payment is received. Payment is always due upon receipt of an invoice and/or statement.
If you have not done so already, please submit your spring commissioning work order, via the online work order form or downloadable PDF, as soon as possible.
