International Workers' Day, also known as May Day, falls on May 1st and is a public holiday in over 80 countries. It is meant to celebrate the contributions of workers, promote their rights, and commemorate the labor movement.

While May Day is also a holiday to mark the arrival of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, it became associated with trade union activities in the late 19th century.

AGENCY NEWS & EVENTS - 
Pittsburgh Financial Empowerment Center’s Financial Trivia Night:

On Monday, April 24th, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the Pittsburgh Financial Empowerment Center hosted a fantastic and super fun Financial Trivia Night event! They had prizes for the winners, and everyone had a great time. The contestants went head-to-head with FEC counselors for a chance to win a prize. 

The event was presented by DJ Thomas P. Walter, and it was held at 5801 Video Lounge in Shadyside. Because of the positive feedback from the first trivia night, The Pittsburgh FEC is looking to host more fun Financial Trivia Nights in the future. Be sure to follow them on social media for updates about future events!
