A New Chapter for our CEO

On behalf of One World Surgery, we want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt thanks to our CEO Claire Cunningham, her husband, Dr. Darren Eblovi, and their three boys, as they conclude their four-year journey in the Dominican Republic. Throughout their time there, they have embraced a spirit of service that has touched countless lives and inspired us all. 

We express our deep appreciation for Dr. Eblovi as the Interim Medical Director and his legacy with OWS. His selflessness, hard work, and leadership has made a lasting impact.

The Chain Effect: OWS Gives Local Paramedic the Ability to Continue to Save Lives in Honduras

Maryury, a 35-year-old woman, found her life taking a challenging turn when she slipped and injured her right knee while getting ready for work one day in May 2022. As a devoted wife and mother of three children, she worked as a paramedic in a small fire station in her community in northern Honduras, where she was the only woman among a team of twelve.

“My husband and I have met very kind people at OWS who have helped us in everything we have needed. I am very happy I had my surgery performed here and I will recommend this center to people who need it.”
