Book Donation Drop Off
Saturday, September 24 from 9 - 1
Donate newer, gently used items in good condition to the Friends of the Library for their book sale. Drop off your items at the Old Town Hall building across from the library between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Before you donate, remember, if you wouldn't give it to a friend, don't give it to the Friends!
Sorry, we cannot accept encyclopedias, reference books, textbooks, magazines, VHS videos or any moldy or musty items. Items that we do not accept can be put into the book donation containers in the parking lot behind the 1910 (Town Office) Building.

The Friends of the Library will be putting in one more order this year for custom commemorative bricks for the walkway in front of the library. Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls
Saturday, September 24 at Noon via Zoom
Rebecca Whittaker, research assistant in Criminal Ethnic and Community Studies at UMass Boston, will discuss the plight of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. She hopes to use her position as an outsider to bring attention to a serious issue that is too often overlooked by the general public and mainstream media.
This event is hosted by the Brockton Public Library and all are welcome.

Digging into Native History in NH
Tuesday, October 4th at 6:00 PM via Zoom
Abenaki history has been reduced to near-invisibility as a result of conquest, a conquering culture that placed little value on the Indian experience, and a strategy of self-preservation that required many Abenaki to go "underground," concealing their true identities for generations to avoid discrimination and persecution. Professor Robert Goodby reveals archaeological evidence that shows their deep presence here, inches below the earth's surface.

Music with Mrs. K
Monday, September 19 from 4:30-5:15 PM
Join Mrs. K (Katrina Mancini) from Family Community Connection for a fun interactive music class.
We'll sing songs, play instruments, dance with scarves and more. Meant for children - infants to age 8.
Class will be held outside behind the children's room (weather permitting). Bring a blanket to sit on. Please click here to sign up.

We provide the Legos and you bring your imagination. We display your creations in the Library for the next month. Families welcome. Please drop in.
Family Storytime
Tuesdays 10:00 and Wednesday at 10:30 starting September 27th
Come join Miss Kate for a fun storytime. Let's have fun listening to
stories, singing songs, doing fingerplays and playing a game. You can pick up a craft kit at the library and enjoy creating something at home.
This session will be held out back on the Library lawn, weather permitting.

Mondays from 3- 5 PM
Help with organization and time management, support for all 5 core classes, research projects, tips on decreasing stress and anxiety, college and career readiness.
Have a group project? Meet at the Library! No registration needed. Drop-in 3-5 pm any Monday. Nut-free Snacks available.
