RESEARCH AND SPONSORED PROGRAMS | APRIL 2023

Fresno State’s inaugural Research Week was delayed three years due to the pandemic, but it was well worth the wait. Featuring nine events across five days (April 17-21), Research Week drew faculty, students and community members to campus for events such as the 44th annual Central California Research Symposium (CCRS), along with faculty presentations and the Jordan Agricultural Research Center Showcase.

“Research Week proved to be an excellent showcase for the impressive projects of faculty and students across campus," said Dr. Joy J. Goto, Interim Dean of the Division of Research and Graduate Studies. "It was wonderful to see such great participation as we recognized and celebrated intellectual inquiry and research across campus."

The CCRS featured nearly 150 oral and poster presenters from throughout the state, including a large group of Fresno State nursing students (pictured above). Click here for a list of award winners, and be sure to check out photos highlighting presenters from the College of Science and Math, as well as the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.

Thank you all for your support. We look forward to building on the success of our first Research Week next year!
