REV. DR. BERT SCOTT

Bert was born in McComb, Mississippi and grew up in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He received a BA (1962) from Millsaps College, Jackson, Mississippi, with a degree in Philosophy; an MDiv (1966) from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky; and a DMin (1992) from Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia. He has experience as a pastor, campus minister, and workshop and retreat leader. He is ordained in the United Methodist Church and has served churches and campuses in Kentucky, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, and Oregon. He is a father and grandfather and is married to his wife, Amy McGhee, with whom he shares a blended family. They live in Albuquerque.
