The Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation announced that it will provide $25 million in new grant funding to expand or establish five Ralph Lauren cancer centers, aimed at reducing disparities in cancer care and access across underserved communities in the United States. The funding will benefit institutions including Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Ralph Lauren Center, as well as three additional locations that will be confirmed. |

Results from the Thinking and Living with Cancer Study showed that the development of sleep disturbances during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic increased symptoms of depression and anxiety among older women, but the findings did not differ between women who survived breast cancer and women without cancer. The study, published in the journal Cancer Medicine, was led by Georgetown Lombardi's Traci N. Bethea, PhD, who described the study's findings as "unexpected, but welcome, news."
