About the Speaker: Deacon Patrick and Danielle McCay have been members of Saint Brigid Parish for over 27 years. They have two children Aidan and Brigid. Patrick was recently ordained as a deacon in June 2021.


About the Topic: The Camino de Santiago or the Way of Saint James, is a pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain. The remains of the Apostle Saint James the Great were buried here and discovered by a shepherd in the 9th century. 


Join Deacon Patrick and Danielle McCay as they share their unique experience and trip of a lifetime, walking over 500 miles in 36 days. They will cover some background on the pilgrimage, their experience with the Camino in the time of COVID, tips for anyone considering the pilgrimage, Holy Year celebrations, Spirituality on the Camino, God moments, and more.
