Certified Organic Apples!
This week's highlight are our organic heirloom apples and pears! We'll have multiple varieties of apples and pears this week. Modern day apples have been bred to become super sweet. And while tasty, they often lack one important feature- apple flavor and aroma!!

This week let's feature is the Jonathan Apple! Jonathan apples are medium sized sweet apples with touch of tartness. They are crisp and very juicy and excellent for eating raw or making applesauce! And although making applesauce sounds intimidating, it's really very easy. Peel, core, chop and steam the apples with a touch of cinnamon. Cool them down and pulse them through the food processor or blender and refrigerate!

The full line-up includes lettuce mix, arugula, tuscan, green and red kale, collards, chard, red leaf and green leaf, scallions, dill, cilantro, slicing tomatoes (red and yellow), cherry tomatoes, zucchini, English cucumbers, yellow onions, celery, leeks, eggplant, green beans, basil, cocktail tomatoes, bell peppers, sweet Italian horn peppers (SO tasty), hot peppers (jalapeño and poblano), apples, pears, radishes and green cabbage.
Scholl Orchards
Plum perfect
You'll still find plenty of yellow peaches, white and yellow nectarines, piles of plums, beautiful Bartlett and Seckel pears, mountains of melons (cantaloupe and watermelon) and a nice array of apples including Honey Crisp, Ludacrisp, Zestar, Gala and Macs.
Cabbage Throw Farm

A NEW Guest Vendor
Introducing Kashmir & Ewe
Swing by the riverside and meet Sharon Sutera, the artist behind Kashmir & Ewe!

"I have always thought of myself as a collage artist. From first using old pieces of broken jewelry and millinery flowers found at yard sales as materials for one of a kind wreaths, to then, for over 10 years, designing costumes for my dancers and hoopers at Sharon Fit Belly dance studio in NJ. During that time I began to upcycle wool and cashmere. There is something special about rescuing unwanted and discarded sweaters, cutting them up, and refashioning them into wearable, colorful new creations.

Originally inspired by the famous Katwise, I have since found my own point of view. Creating, hoodies, coats, dresses, hats, hoods, scarves, leg and arm warmers, and beginning to incorporate new passions, felting and acid dyeing.

Wool and cashmere are valuable gifts shared with us from sheep and goats friends, too precious to discard over a small insignificant hole or stain. This is my small way of saving the planet one sweater at a time!"

-Sharon Sutera
