Dear CCSD families and Chillicothe community,
I hope you all have been enjoying the sporadic spring weather we’ve been having! As we get into the final month of school, our students and staff are preparing for finals, end-of-year projects and graduations. I’m so proud of the great work our district is accomplishing, including our CHS Science Bowl team making it to the 2023 National Science Bowl (NSB) National Finals! Join me in cheering them on as they represent Chillicothe and compete in Washington, D.C. this weekend.
April is Stress Awareness Month, which is a perfect time to create opportunities to help your students with their mental health and wellness as they wrap up this school year. As students work through final exams, large projects and state-mandated testing, it’s crucial that they take time to rest and recuperate from all they’re working on. Encourage your students to eat well and get enough sleep to propel them through the last month of the school year. If your student needs extra support, don’t hesitate to reach out to our counselors and staff who are ready to provide assistance.
Read on to learn more about what’s going on in the district!
