Dear Families of the MS 104 Community:


I hope that everyone had a nice week away from school. We now head in to the final stretch of the 2022-23 school year! There are many events upcoming as make our way towards the end of June.


Tomorrow, our students in grades six through eight will be taking Day One of the state ELA test. Day Two will be administered on Thursday, April 20th. In preparation for the exam, I wanted to remind our students and families of the following:

  • Get a good night's sleep! This will have students feeling refreshed and focused on exam days.
  • Eat breakfast! Nutrition is an important part of being at your best on exam days. As a reminder, breakfast is available, FREE, to all students in the cafeteria every morning beginning at 7:40 AM.
  • Get to school on time! Plan accordingly to ensure you are at school for morning entry at 8:20 AM.
  • Think positively! You have worked hard with your teachers in preparation for the exam and are ready!
  • Make sure that you bubble in your answers correctly. As you answer questions, double check to ensure that you are entering answers for the corresponding items.
  • Do your personal best!


I thank our ELA teachers for all of their hard work in preparing our students for the exam and I wish our students the best of luck!

No School on Friday, April 21st!

As a reminder, there is no school this Friday, April 21st, in observance of Eid al-Fitr which marks the end of the month of Ramadan. Wishing all families observing this holiday a special day with loved ones.



Tickets On Sale to Spring Fundraiser on Friday, May 5th!!!

After a three year hiatus due to COVID restrictions, I am so excited that our PTA will be hosting our IN PERSON Spring Fundraiser! The fundraiser is a way to contribute to our PTA while connecting with other families and staff members. It is always a fun event and a great way to support the school!


The Auction Fiesta Fundraiser will take place on Friday, May 5th here at the school. The event begins at 6:30 PM.


Tickets are $75 and include food and drinks. To purchase tickets to the event, please click here. If you are unable to attend but would like to make a donation to the PTA fund or donate an item to be included in the auction, you may do so at this link as well. As always, friends and loved ones are invited to attend as well!


The success of our auction is always enhanced by donations to be include in our catalog of items. If you have access to restaurant gift certificates, tickets to events, recreational or vacation packages, we would greatly appreciate you considering making a donation to the catalog.
