Bringing with it 35 vendors and 3 food trucks with all your favorite farm fresh produce & eggs, fresh baked bread & pastries, farm flowers, delicious options prepared by local chefs, along with much more. FALL SHEPHERD CONCERT

We invite you to a Fall Shepherd concert. This year, the Austin Chamber Music Center in collaboration with the Artisan String Quartet will offer a program of Classic and Romantic music for strings. Works to be included are the Piano Quartet K. 478 by W.A. Mozart, and the Piano Quintet, Opus 34, by Johannes Brahms. Doors open at 5:30p. EDGE KIDS BIBLE STUDY

MIDDLE SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY

SEED SEMINARS

This year we are offering a new opportunity for parishioners at Good Shepherd to participate in a national program called SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity). The National SEED Project is a peer-led program that creates communities to drive personal, organizational, and societal change toward greater equity and diversity. No prerequisite is required, although SEED would be a good follow up experience if you have participated in Sacred Ground programming. SEED seminars will meet monthly on second Tuesdays. Whether you are new to the Episcopal tradition or a longtime Episcopalian, our three-part Episcopal 101 classes are a great way to learn about our Anglican roots. Led by our Good Shepherd clergy, these classes will introduce Episcopal Church history and theology, The Book of Common Prayer, and liturgy in the Episcopal tradition. MUSIC ON THE HILL FEATURING: WES HAYNES AND THE MUSTARD STAINS

THE ORDER OF THE DAUGHTERS OF THE KING

Join us for an informational meeting on Sunday about the Order of the Daughters of the King. As we seek to grow in our faith and life in Christ, Daughters of the King provides an opportunity for women to learn, grow, and serve the church and the world together. This group welcomes women of all ages and will be scheduled so that women who cannot attend events during a typical workday will be able to participate. Each year Good Shepherd joins in community to promote awareness and advocacy for mental health needs during the 5K NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Walk at the Palmer Events Center in Austin. ADULT ED SUNDAY MORNINGS AT THE HILL

COMMUNITY FIRST! VILLAGE: MOVE-INS

Community First! Village (CF!V) is a 51-acre community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for people coming out of chronic homelessness. Come be a part of the Spirit at work in our community. We will meet at Community First! Village and we will be guided to one of the new homes to clean and furnish for unhoused neighbors. Join Good Shepherd’s Team 102 for the Mobile Loaves & Fishes Food Truck prep and run. Sign up to prepare sandwiches and load the truck from 4:00p–5:00p at the Mobile Loaves and Fishes Commissary (at St. John Neumann’s Catholic Church). You may also sign up for the truck run from 5:00p7:00p, where you’ll take food to several locations around Austin. All volunteers are welcome!

TRINITY STREETS

At Trinity Streets, we serve meals for 40-65 people coming in off the streets of downtown Austin on Sunday afternoons. Volunteers serve by preparing and serving meals, hosting a worship service for those coming to Trinity Center, and cleaning the kitchen afterwards. To register please click HERE.
