New Senior District Executive

Greeting everyone! I have landed in Baltimore and am very excited to be on this adventure with all of you in the Arrowhead District!

I am looking into having some time in the district for an office hours/open house at a local place for you to come, meet me, discuss Scouting, hobbies, etc. I will have that information next week. I hope you can attend them.

Scouting for Food

The Baltimore Area Council hosts only one Council-wide service project, Scouting for Food. Last year our scouts and scouters collected over 250,000 LBS of food that stayed local in food pantries and shelters in their communities. We all know the need this important program serves in our neighborhoods. This is an amazing time to have your unit be in uniform, out and about in the community being seen giving service.

The question isn't "Is your Unit participating in Scouting for Food, it's when are is your Unit participating?" Although units are able to select distribution/collection dates the Baltimore Area Council is promoting:

March 19-20, 2022 - Door Hanger Distribution

March 26-27, 2022 - Food Collection

CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP

As a part of our strategic plan, the Baltimore Area Council Cub Scout Day Camp Committee has adopted the recommendation to reduce the number of Cub Scout Day Camps, increasing attendance at camps and providing great opportunities for adventure.

We are excited to announce that registration is open for area camps Arrowhead Cub Scouts are welcome to attend! Please feel free to attend any camp that meets your scheduling needs.
