RESPECT
DCHS Students Looking To Advance Ideas To Space
Ms. Jennifer Clark and Mr. Mike Beeler are taking their classes to the next level in the NASA HUNCH program. Both classes are participating in collaboration for the first mental health project for astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS). The students’ ideas have come to life at DCHS using both innovative minds and advanced 3D equipment as pictured above. Ms. Clark and Mr. Beeler extend a special 'thank you' to Mr. Bob Zeek and Mr. Stacy Hale from NASA HUNCH for visiting DCHS to encourage our students and provide them with constructive feedback for advancing their projects to space.
Special Guests Read To DES Kindergarten Students
Coach Mark Whitt and several of the DCHS basketball players visited Dade Elementary School last week and read to kindergarten students and opened car doors at dismissal. Coach Whitt extends a"shout out to Tracy Blevins for allowing us to read to her Kindergarten classes at Dade Elementary School." Davis Elementary Character Spotlight

Dade Middle School Character Spotlight

Davis Elementary To Host Parent Workshop
Davis Elementary will be hosting a parent workshop on Tuesday, February 15th, from 5:30PM to 6:30PM. The topics will include: Dealing With Defiant Behaviors and Resources and Strategies For Parents That Have Students With Disabilities. The guest speakers will include: Dr. Martha Plumlee, DES Teacher and Mrs. Karyn Leggett, DCS School Psychologist. DES To Host Virtual STEM Night
Dade Elementary School will be hosting a virtual STEM night on Thursday, February 17th. Each grade level will have a challenge for parents and students to try at home.
