WELCOME to the March 2022 issue of The Holiday Traveler - our very own overview of what's happening in the world of travel!

We have now crossed the two-year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the "magic" threshold spoken about by so many experts at the onset - a time that when reached, would signal the beginning of the end of this worldwide event. And it looks as though that is starting to come to fruition. In fact, we are now seeing the highest level of new bookings here at Holiday Travel since before the pandemic began - and there have been a lot of positive signs taking place to keep that momentum in place!

For example, just in the month of March...

  • The CDC has again lowered their cruise ship travel health notice from level 3 (high) to Level 2 (moderate) - the lowest level since before the pandemic began.
  • Several more destinations have dropped testing and quarantine requirements for vaccinated travelers - or will in the next week or two. This includes Aruba, the United Kingdom, Bermuda, Italy, Canada, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and many more.
  • We have continued our travels to keep completely updated on current progress both domestically and internationally. Staff journeys have included Portugal, Morocco, Mexico, and the Bahamas - as well as Suzanne's continued exploration of our US National Parks during a trip last week to the Carolinas. In April she'll be visiting both Washington DC for Cherry Blossom Festival and the pink-sand beaches of Bermuda!
  • We booked LOTS of new clients, but still have space on upcoming group journeys, including Ireland (June), Greece (July), Rhine River Cruise (July), Christmas in New York (December) and Egypt (2023)! See the details for these trips and book soon!
