Campus Announcements

Maintaining a Healthy Campus

As we return to campus, Boston continues to have high levels of COVID-19, influenza and RSV.

Masks: Massachusetts continues to require masks in all health-care locations. We also strongly recommend wearing a mask in crowded areas, including classrooms and the BU Shuttle, for the first two weeks until we evaluate the situation.

COVID-19 Testing: Please test before returning to campus if you are experiencing any symptoms or have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Depending on your travel over intersession, you may be required to test prior to returning to the United States. Please review the new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements starting on Jan. 5 here

Boston University PCR testing resumes on Jan. 3 for those with symptoms or exposures, Monday-Friday between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Health Services Annex in the rear of 925 Commonwealth Ave. on the Charles River Campus.
