We are witnessing unspeakable tragedies in this country. Just ten days ago, gun violence claimed the lives of ten citizens innocently shopping at their grocery store in a Black neighborhood in Buffalo, New York. Yesterday, nineteen children and two adults in Uvalde, Texas were gunned down at their elementary school.
Today, we open this newsletter with a Spirtual Mind Treatment by Practitioner Candy Paull to honor their lives and move forward in
healing in our culture:
There is but one life, one body of love, and all are part of it. I have absolute faith in the principle of life, the law of love. Love transcends all other manifestations and all conditions of sorrow, loss, and chaos. I am filled with confidence that love is a law that is greater than all human suffering. I perceive the action and harmony of God in, back of, and through all things and all people. I do not have to outline how that law of love will manifest in the midst of tragedy. I only choose to know that love is stronger than death, greater than any adverse conditions of life, and it works just as yeast works as leaven in a loaf of bread. I affirm that God is creatively active in all experiences, and the true nature of Divine harmony and healing is the seed of perfection manifest in my life, in the lives of those I love, and in the lives of all who are grieving. The presence and unity that is God expresses in all conditions whether I understand or not. In that oneness and unity, God is the moving force at work within every situation. The fullness of love is being revealed in mysterious and wonderful ways. I give thanks for the eternal seed of perfection and transformation that is at the center of every human heart and that is manifesting even now. I release my word to the law of love that is an expression of the fullness of God in the midst of us. And so it is.

Born in NYC, I grew up in then-rural eastern Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. My father was a pilot, my mother a Broadway singer and dancer. I moved to NYC to launch my career, performing and recording with: Scott Jarrett, David Johansen, Buster Poindexter, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Foghat, Dan Seals, and Blackhawk. In 1992 I moved to Nashville as a songwriter, co-writing the #1 Country Hit; “In The Heart Of A Woman” for Billy Ray Cyrus. Since then, I have continued singing and playing bass with local artists.
I’ve loved raising my beautiful daughter Maddie Mae – my ultimate work of life! Now Maddie Mae is grown, and I’m happily reconnected and (thanks to Rev. Mitch) married to my teenage heartthrob Jeanie Turn.

Plans are to meet at Radnor Lake Saturday June 4th at 10:30AM (Weather permitting of course). Mark will be meeting everyone at the West Parking Area in front of the Visitor Center. It will be a 2.5 mile hike that is mostly level with some mild/moderate uphill trail terrain. In light of all those who have been victims of recent shootings: children, loved ones and their families, I invite everyone to observe a moment of silence surrounding them with the love and light of Spirit.
I know that there is one, infinite, inner Presence of Spirit in everything and everyone. I know that this Presence responds to me. I know that everyone is an incarnation of God, and that the living Spirit breathes through all of us. I recognize this Spirit and it responds to me. I realize that everything is alive, awake and aware with Spirit! This Spirit is in all, over all and through all.
Right now I have a deep realization that I am surrounded by an infinite law and love which receives my thought and acts upon it. I consciously use this law and direct it to surround all those impacted by shootings here and in Texas with love and the support of Spirit. I feel the love of Spirit in and through me and in and through everyone. It gives me and everyone else great comfort. We are all surrounded by the grace of Spirit, we are safe and we are loved. I give great thanks for the infinite love of Spirit which is always Present within and around us. I release this my word in calm confidence, in perfect trust and abiding faith in your name.
And so it is!
