Settlement Music School

Dear Wynnefield Branch Families,

I hope that you all had a great summer and that you are excited for the start of the new season! It was an honor serving our families and teachers this past year and I plan on continuing to get to know everyone even better this season and in the years to come. I am in awe of the talented students that pass through this branch, and it is a privilege to be here supporting everyone on their musical journey. It has become clear to me over this past year what Settlement Music School means to the people in our community and the impact that it has made in their lives.

This branch is rich in both its individual lessons offering and classes and ensembles that develop students’ musical skills and cultivate a lifelong passion for music and the arts. To add to this Settlement experience, we are thrilled to present a wonderful new Suzuki inspired program for violin, viola and cello called Tapestry Strings that incorporates group learning along with private instruction. We are also continuing to develop our jazz program that consistently sends talented students into top collegiate jazz programs nationwide.

There is a place for everyone here at the Wynnfield Branch and our administrative team would love to find that place for every child and adult that wishes to explore or maximize their potential in music.

Best Regards,

Luke Honer, Wynnefield Branch Director
