COLORADO HEADWATERS LAND TRUST
ANNOUNCES SUCCESS FOR LOCAL CONSERVATION EFFORTS
Grand Lake, CO – Colorado Headwaters Land Trust (CHLT) announced in mid-July that they acquired a gorgeous 80-acre conservation easement in the Kawuneeche Valley, bordering Rocky Mountain National Park. The easement was granted in 2001 to the American Easement Foundation by previous landowners. The current landowners first approached CHLT to transfer the easement in 2022.
