Is it Sweater Weather Yet?


The sun lingers long enough for us to think a t-shirt might be fine, but then the leaves rustle with a chill. We're on the precipice where what once was new is cherished for it's now old feel. Whether you're new or old to this newsletter, welcome. We publish monthly and have dev fun here.

What's New

Reservations


  • When editing facility requests on the management side, staff notes can be added for internal reference that's only visible on the request.
  • When deleting/modifying reservation dates from the same schedule, refunds may be sent back to credit card if paid that way and in time.


Reports


  • There is now a summary version of the Scan Options membership report that groups results by member.
  • A column has been added for Required Document and Missing Document activity and membership reports to show if the document was optional.
  • A disbursement export report has been added to financial reports.
  • The Compare dashboard defaults to showing 1 month of data instead of 3 for faster loading.
  • The Disclaimer Completion activity report can filter the date range to week and month time frames of adv activities using separate billing.
  • A checkbox has been added to Option Report in POS reports to choose whether to include or exclude cancelled purchases.
  • The registrant name is displayed in results for the Option Report in POS reports if applicable.
  • The options dropdown within a product in the Option Report (POS reports) now includes a Show All choice to see of that option's selections.


Accounts


  • Standard activity registration transfer has been retired in favor of the more flexible cancellation & re-registration process.
  • During the registration cancellation process, the registrant and payer names will show in their own, appropriately named, columns.
  • Cancellation of a registration checks to see if a cancellation has been done on the same item elsewhere and prevents another.
  • The multi-adjust feature on advanced activity invoices processes discounts to as close as the desired amount without falling below zero.
  • The messages appearing about seats being available when cancelling a registration have been updated to only show if the seat cap is not met.


Checkout & Activities


  • If no facilities exist, editing an activity's schedule allows for the use of the 'Other' location instead.
  • Program type can not be changed after a program has been created, regardless of activity existence, in order to prevent settings issues.
  • Pricing options with autopay and the Per Day interval calculate fees by the day instead of by the week or month.
  • When overbooking in management checkout, the global disclaimer selection is saved throughout the process, including seat checks.


Misc


  • The cause of premature email address deactivation due to bouncebacks in email blasts has been corrected and affected addresses reactivated (as of 9/2/22).
  • All dates in a quick-add show on view, edit, and delete from any date within it. There is an option to delete some dates or the full item.
  • The link to add a change request now directs you to call client support so we can better help document details and find solutions.
