Miniature American Shepherd Community,

Canine genetics testing at the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory in collaboration with the Purdue Canine Genetics Lab has been temporarily halted to allow troubleshooting of concerns that have been brought to our attention by members of your community.  As an accredited laboratory, the ADDL is committed to quality diagnostic testing and will ensure that all concerns have been thoroughly reviewed and protocol modifications validated before testing resumes.

At this time, we will continue to accept samples, and will hold them until testing resumes. Once testing resumes, all samples with previously reported results will be re-tested and re-reported according to the updated protocol.

Your frustrations are understood and we recognize the crucial information the test results hold for your breeding programs. We appreciate the feedback from your community and your patience as we work to ensure the highest quality test results.
