Summer Small Group

Reading through the Book of Concord June 1 – August 31

This summer we will be reading through The Book of Concord. This book is a compilation of what is to be believed and taught in the Christian church based on Holy Scripture. It contains the three creeds which originated in the ancient church as well as writings from the Reformation. Participants in this Small Group will have the opportunity to meet 5 times over the summer for fellowship, to discuss the readings and to encourage one another. Sign up to receive both the reading plan and the Book of Concord. Meeting Sunday June 4, July 2, 23, August 6, 27 at 1pm.

attending the worship service). We will have a special recognition during the 11 AM worship service. 

Vacation Bible School

“Stellar” - Shine Jesus’ Light

June 4-8 5:30-8:15pm

All kids (ages 2-5th grade) are invited on a cosmic quest where they will have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar will rocket kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun! We start off with a family meal from 5:30-6pm. Then, stick around to enjoy a fun, exciting, interactive evening full of games, music, stories, crafts & more! Sign up online.

Youth of LWLC Invite You to Local Mission Opportunities



  APARTMENT OUTREACH (family fun day) May 6th from 5-7pm. Set up at 4pm at Marina Del Rey Apartment in Grapevine. We will have bounce houses, pizza, prize drawings and yard games!

Needs: hand out pizza, man the bouncy houses, check in guests, start up conversations with those who are attending, set up and tear down.

This is a way to build community and reach out to local people. We will get a chance to talk to and share the Gospel with those who desperately need it as well as provide a meal and activities for the kids.

$1 CARWASH May 13^th 1-3pm. We need 10-15 people at each location: location #1 Arby’s in Grapevine, location #2 and #3 if enough people sign up is Pizza Hut in Grapevine and Krispy Cream Donuts. 

Needs: Wash and dry cars, talk to those who are getting cars washed and hand out a $1 bill provided by the church along with information about the church. 

By washing peoples cars and instead of receiving payment, we give to them, we show that God breaks the mold as to what our expectations should be in our relationship with Him.

GRILL OUTREACH May 20^th, meet at the parking lot of Dove Park at 5 pm, then we will cook and provide burgers, chips and water to those at Dove Park.

This is a way to provide a meal to our neighbors and a chance to pray for and share the Gospel.

CCA Meals for Kids (Mondays)

We are putting a team of 8 people together from LWCL to package meals for kids in Lewisville on June 5 & 19 and July 3, 17 & 31 from 10am to 12pm. Email Steve Burke if you can help on any of these dates (steve@lwlc.com).
