.....April 22 is Earth Day and our day to spiffy up our corner of the world.

.....We will gather at 9 a.m. at The Cedars for assignments and return at 1 p.m. for lunch on the lawn by Roosters.

Duvall Decker plans next Concrete Studio

.....Duvall Decker will host its Spring Concrete Studio on Friday, April 14th at 7 p.m. in its back parking lot.

....Concrete Studio will feature rapid-fire art talks from local creatives including Nashlie Sephus, Nick Wallace, Ellen Langford, Ron Chane, M.C. Smith, David Swider, Katie Bowen, and Ashleigh Coleman.

.....Duvall Decker is located at 2915 North State Street (next door to the new Hunt location.)

.....This community event is free to the public and all are welcome. Food and drinks will be provided. Bring your own lawn chairs!

Rental, Abandoned properties forwarded to city

.....Fondren citizens have submitted 45 rental properties and 25 abandoned properties in the Fondren area using the on-line forms found on this newsletter. This information has been forwarded to the city.

Volunteers Needed: USA IBC

.....Volunteers are the lifeblood of the USA International Ballet Competition. The competition is scheduled for June 10 - 24.

....."We invite and value the support of friends and neighbors far and wide who want the USA IBC to succeed," said Fondren resident and Volunteer Coordinator Debbie Good.
