The 17th Annual Children's Trust Champions for Children Award Ceremony returns on Tuesday, April 27, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport and Convention Center, 711 NW 72nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33126. This year there are two new awards, including an Excellence in Youth Leadership Award, to go along with the rest of the honors and recognitions.

The Children's Trust is sponsoring a SPARK (Sports, Play, and Active Recreation for Kids) training event at least once every month. The training is for contracted Youth Development K-5 providers using SPARK curriculum for fitness. Watch the Trust Academy LMS Event calendar for future trainings.

Invite your families and caregivers to attend a READy, Set, Go Miami! workshop in English, Spanish, or Creole hosted by partners all over Miami-Dade (in-person and virtual). This is an early literacy initiative built by locals for locals to encourage families to use simple literacy strategies while engaging in everyday activities such as grocery shopping, cooking, or waiting for an appointment.

Community Engagement Manager -($55,968 Annual)
The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for performing a variety of community driven duties with an emphasis on maintaining contact with community groups, parents and other caregivers, providing support to residents on children’s needs, as well as evaluating and responding to community needs concerning children. The incumbent exercises independence of action and will possess considerable knowledge of community activities and needs for children and families and use considerable professional judgment in the performance of community engagement work.
Program Manager - ($55,968 Annual)
The Program Manager position manages the full life cycle of assigned funded program(s) and services located throughout Miami-Dade County. This position requires occasional non-traditional work hours (weekends and evenings) and reliable transportation.
This professional position will support the Programs Management Team in implementing strategies that foster collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to ensure services are delivered in accordance with The Children’s Trust standards and latest evidence-based practices. S/he is responsible for utilizing change management, knowledge, skills, and behaviors to promote continuous quality improvement throughout the assigned contracts and projects. This person will be assigned a caseload of contracts and may serve as initiative/project lead.
Administrative Services Coordinator, Human Resources - ($48,668 Annual)
This Administrative Services Coordinator – Human Resources, is responsible for assisting in a variety of functions related to the administrative services of The Children’s Trust’s operations which include continuous quality improvement, planning, coordination, and management of special projects related to the area of Human Resources.
This position includes, but is not limited to, assisting in the development of procedures, project management, and assigned tasks related to Human Resources matters.
Media Manager - ($55,968 Annual)
The Media Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Communications with all forms of media, including earned and paid media, sponsored content, and social media. The Media Manager will be the primary executor of media strategies as directed by both the Director of Communications and the Chief Public Policy & Engagement Officer. The incumbent will also work directly with both marketing and public relations consultants, as assigned. The incumbent will have creative latitude to develop written content, under the approval of the Director of Communications and Chief Public Policy & Engagement Officer and will have the opportunity to pitch and develop media stories.
Research & Evaluation Analyst - ($55,968 Annual)
The Research and Evaluation Analyst is a critical member of both cross- and inter-departmental teams at The Children’s Trust who engages in proactive problem-solving and critical thinking/analysis related to the design and effectiveness of various child, youth and family services. Primary responsibilities include: contributing to effective program and systems designs for The Children’s Trust’s priority investments in child, youth and family services; designing and maintaining sound data collection tools and systems to capture meaningful program, operational and community data in a user-friendly, accessible manner; and analyzing and making meaning from available data to tell our stories using compelling visualizations and reports, with an intentional focus on the specific audience and purpose of the message.
