Rabbi Israel S. Dresner Memorial Library
The Rabbi Israel S. Dresner Library Fund has been established to support the bridge to TBT’s rich history and Rabbi Dresner’s legacy through inclusive intergenerational programming and initiatives. Learn more
Temple Beth Tikvah is proud to have established the Rabbi Israel S Dresner Memorial Library to honor Rabbi Dresner’s contribution to our House of Hope, its congregants, and the greater Jewish community for some twenty-five years.
Rabbi Dresner donated 1,000 books on Jewish history and writings from his personal library to our Temple for the establishment of a library and a lecture series. The Library would be accessible to our Temple congregants and the greater Wayne community.
Rabbi Dresner worked hard to build a better future. Today, we must continue to foster understanding and inclusivity for our children and grandchildren. We hope you will help to support the Rabbi Dresner Library with a gift honoring or memorializing your loved ones and, at the same time, building upon Rabbi Dresner’s dream of Tikkun Olam – making the world a better place.
To make a secure donation online, go to: tbtwayne.shulcloud.com/member. Once signed in, select the "Pay My Bill/Donate" button on the home page. From there select the Donation button and then click the type and choose the Rabbi Dresner Library Fund or mail a check to:

WIN Food Pantry
“If we do not help a man in trouble, it is as if we caused the trouble.”
Nachman of Bratslav
The 173 families in Wayne that rely on the WIN Food Pantry for their sustenance need our help to sustain the assistance they need to keep them nourished. We at Temple Beth Tikvah have been very generous in our support of our neighbors in trouble – and I ask you to continue your acts of kindness in this season of rebirth by bringing your donations for the pantry to the WIN receptacle outside the office in the synagogue. And as we enjoy the blossoming of the Spring season, we can also enjoy the good feeling of having helped those in our community who have faced difficulties.
Please remember to check expiration dates on all contributions because the Pantry cannot accept expired items. And do not donate matzo, pasta or food needing refrigeration.
Toda Raba,
Lynn Cooper 973-696-5549

The current food assistance needs in Wayne are greater than any one organization can provide. For this reason, these organizations and food pantries have united efforts to serve Wayne residents during this pandemic and beyond. Many families, senior citizens and single residents are impacted, some for the first time, by the physical, mental and financial strains of this crisis.
Please consider adding something to your shopping list, check your cabinets, and join this effort.
Please click here for a list of needed items and here for more information on how you can help.
