Lots to share....PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
**We will be honoring Mom's or other special people in our students lives at our Muffins with Mom event. Due to COVID, we cannot invite guests inside but have planned a beautiful event in our front patio. Please plan to spend 5-10 minutes enjoying a light bite with your child (one guest per child) between the hours of 8:00 and 9:00 and be ready to receive wonderful gifts made by your child.
TUESDAY MAY 3: Gold, Brown, & Red
WEDNESDAY MAY 4: Silver, Orange, & Blue
THURSDAY MAY 5: Rainbow, Yellow, Purple, & Green
***NEW SHADE SAILS FOR OUR PLAYGROUND: We are ready to buy and install new shade for the summer. I have contacted 4 companies and only one has actually come out with a quote. That quote was $32,000!! If any of our parents know of a company that does this type of work and can give us a quote, I would be very grateful.
***OPERATING HOURS AND STAFF COMMUNICATION: I am so grateful for my wonderful staff! I see every message that comes into Brightwheel. Messages come into the app 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Being simply wonderful, my staff even at home with family, stop and read and reply to messages at all hours of the night. I also receive messages 7 days a week around the clock. Recently the after hours messages have become excessive. As our hours are 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, I am asking that WHENEVER POSSIBLE, please try and message during operating hours. If you do message outside of business hours that is fine too, but please understand that you may not receive replies until staff is at work the next day. Thank you for understanding so that our staff can have some quality time with their families.
***PHONE SYSTEM: We have had no complaints so far. Please take a moment to send a message to me in Brightwheel if you have used the phone system and let me know if you think it is working well or if you have had any problems. Remember if you transfer to a class and they are not in the room, the call will ring back to the office. If it goes to voicemail, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE A VOICEMAIL on class phones. Just call back at another time.
***SUMMER VACATIONS: I will be leaving the sign up sheet for one more week. If you plan to take summer vacation, please sign up NO LATER THAN FRIDAY May 6th. We have families on a waiting list and cannot bring them in unless we know what weeks you are taking vacations. To avoid being charged for summer time off, please sign up no later than May 6th.
****FINAL REGISTRATION INSTALLMENT: The final installment will be billed on Monday May 9th.
Finally, a million thanks to the parents of Yellow Door who did an extraordinary job feeding our staff on Thursday. Our cups are running over with kindness!
