Jihye Choi is pursuing a Doctor of Music at Indiana University, studying with Dr. Janette Fishell. Jihye received her Master of Music degree in Organ Performance from the University of Cincinnati (College-Conservatory of Music), where she studied with Dr. Michael Unger. She won First Prize at the Strader Organ Competition in both 2015 and 2017, which awarded her a full-tuition scholarship to obtain her master’s degree. Ms. Choi received a Bachelor of Arts in Church Music from the Seoul Theological University where she was a recipient of a four-year scholarship as a top student of the church music department and graduated summa cum laude in 2010. Her teachers include Kum-ock Baik and Jisung Kim.

Ms. Choi has won many awards in organ competitions. Prizes include First Prize in Duo at the YoungSan Organ competition in South Korea (2014), third prize at the Sydney Organ Competition (2016) in Australia, second prize at the Arthur Poister Organ Scholarship Competition (2016), and first prize at the Fort Wayne National Organ Competition (2018), and second prize in the Sursa Organ Competition (2019), semifinalist at NYACOP 2020. Most recently she was selected as one of the finalists in the NYACOP 2022. She also has performed as an active concert organist in South Korea, the United States, and Europe. Currently, she serves as the Organ Scholar at Christ Church Cathedral Indianapolis. 

Jihye will perform the music of Mendelssohn, Vierne, and Bossi. We hope you will join us!

On Sunday afternoon, March 19th, our WI-FI was updated by Josh Taylor, owner of Taylored PC'S. We now have four Access Points installed. They are located in the hallway near the Chapel, Fellowship Hall, Sanctuary, and Tom's office. The WI-FI is fantastic everywhere in the building. You will need to update your phone settings if you have previously used the church's WI-FI. The information you will need is below.

As we glance at the pantry shelves they are beginning to lose their bareness. I found canned

pasta and selected Campbell soups for $1 each at Kroger earlier this week and that sale is continuing on through next Tuesday. However, the buy of the week with a digital coupon is Kroger brand peanut butter for $.99. Let's overfill that shelf as such a sale has not existed for months. Pasta sauce is still needed as are canned meats, vegetables, fruits, boxed mac and cheese, laundry soap, and TOILET TISSUE.

Easter Flower forms are located on the Welcome Table in the Narthex. The Easter flowers are used to adorn the sanctuary on Easter Sunday. Any amount may be contributed. The deadline to contribute is April 2nd. Worship Ministry will order flowers; all you have to do is donate. Thanks!

For those who donate and wish to take a plant home, the flowers will be available for pick-up after worship on Sunday, April 16th. They will be located in the Narthex.

A number of folks expressed interest in holding an Easter Brunch following worship on Easter Sunday, April 9th. A sign-up form for various items, ie., breakfast casseroles, fruit, coffee cakes, juice, etc., is located on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall. Please sign-up on Sunday! There is also a need for several to help with set-up and clean-up. Thanks for your participation!

The 40 days of Lent are a season to reflect and remember, to look forward and ahead. These are not easy times for many of us. Yet Lent reminds us that God is not yet through with us or our world. We know by faith that God is at work, drawing us toward the resurrection and restoration of the world. Do you like seeing the beautiful flowers on the Altar each Sunday? If so, we need you to sign-up today! There are many weeks remaining this year that need a sponsor. The flower cost is $20 per vase or two for $40. Two people may sign-up on a Sunday if you would like to share the cost. Please sign-up today!

Please note that we will not have flowers adorning the Altar if there is no sponsor for a particular week.
